Delete your Drop'n'See data
Drop'n'See gives every member full control over their data. Follow the steps below to permanently delete your account.
Self-service deletion (recommended)
Using the in-app Account Deletion option is the fastest way to remove your data. The flow mirrors the AccountSettingsScreen in the Dropnsee mobile app and immediately triggers our backend deletion job.
Step 1. Open Drop'n'See and sign in
Launch the latest version of the Drop'n'See app on your iOS or Android device and make sure you are signed in with the account you want to delete.
Step 2. Navigate to Account Settings
Tap your profile avatar to open the Settings menu, then select "Account Settings." From there choose the "Account Deletion" option. This is the same flow surfaced in the Dropnsee mobile app.
Step 3. Confirm deletion in the app
The app will display a confirmation dialog explaining that all drops, check-ins, places, and comments will be permanently removed. Tap "Delete account" to confirm. The request is sent directly to our backend and processed immediately.
Step 4. Automatic sign-out and purge
Once the request succeeds you are signed out of all sessions. Your account profile, drops, media, comments, and location history are queued for deletion in our primary data store and backups.
What gets deleted?
- Profile information (display name, avatar, email, auth identifiers).
- All drops, check-ins, media, comments, and associated metadata.
- Location history stored to power "My Places" and reminders.
- Connected third-party auth tokens (Apple, Facebook, Google, email/password).
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Some records might persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which they are purged automatically.

If you have lost access to the app or the email tied to your Drop'n'See account, use one of the channels below and we will manually verify your request.
In-app assistance
If you cannot access the Account Deletion dialog, use Settings → Account Assistance to send us a note from the device you originally used to create the account.
Email request
Email privacy@dropnsee.com using the same email address tied to your Drop'n'See account. Include your display name and the subject "Account deletion request." We will respond within 48 hours.
After deletion
Once the deletion flow completes you can rejoin Drop'n'See at any time by creating a new account with the same or a different login provider. Previously saved content cannot be recovered.
